on Gestalt, resilience as a tool for change and rebounding from blockers.

Where to Stream:

Today we chat with Rowan Gray, who launched Made to Move in 2016 and has built a consultancy known for doing relational work that leads to meaningful change for people and organizations. Working with his clients in partnership Rowan brings a theory of change to get people, teams and organizations moving and a proven ability to work with a broad spectrum of people across different organizations and sectors. His technique is based on his unique blend of skills as a consultant, coach and psychotherapist. Previously, Rowan worked as a Consultant at Deloitte and for a number of FTSE 100 companies including BP and BAA. He's a qualified executive coach and UKCP accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist who trained at The Metanoia Institute.

It was a pleasure to finally have Rowan on the show. You might remember that during my podcast with Samantha Miller several months ago, I quoted Rowan’s work on debunking the myth of balance and stated on air that I would find him out there in cyberspace. Well, I did and Rowan kindly indulged me in an interview. In this conversation, we learn how Rowan’s background in sustainability fuels his consulting work and how energy is at the base of everything he does. Through challenging blocked energy, harnessing high energy, awakening low energy, finding sources of new energy and following the energy flow, Rowan creates organizational change with leadership teams and stakeholders, develops and directs teams towards unified goals, and uses resilience as a tool for change. If you are interested in identifying where your energy is blocked and learning skills for channeling your energy for a more productive or creative purpose, you have come to the right place. Tune in to learn how you create more movement in your professional and personal life.
